About the artist

Coley McCabe is a platinum-selling singer-songwriter whose career has taken her from Nashville’s Music Row and the Grand Ole Opry to stages across the country.

A former RCA Records Nashville recording artist, Coley released the single “Grow Young With You,” featuring Andy Griggs, which was included in the Natalie Portman and Ashley Judd film Where the Heart Is. As a songwriter, she co-wrote SHeDAISY’s Top 5 hit “Lucky 4 You (Tonight I’m Just Me),” and her songs have been recorded by artists including Loretta Lynn, Bill Anderson, Kristy Lee Cook, Rebecca Lynn Howard and Lila McCann.

Coley’s talents have also crossed into film. She co-starred in the feature Alabama Love Story and contributed music to the project, and she co-wrote “In Time,” recorded for the soundtrack of The Punisher. During her career, she has performed on the Grand Ole Opry stage six times.

Today, Coley continues to write, record and perform both as a solo artist and alongside her husband and fellow singer-songwriter Thom Shepherd. Together, Thom & Coley have developed a sound that brings Nashville songwriting together with the laid-back influence of life along the coast. Their work has earned multiple honors from the Trop Rock Music Association, including recognition for Coley as Female Vocalist of the Year and multiple Duo of the Year awards for Thom & Coley.

Whether she’s sharing one of the songs that helped establish her Nashville career or something inspired by the coastal life she now calls home, Coley brings an accomplished songwriter’s perspective, an unmistakable voice and plenty of stories to the stage.

Blast on the Bay is excited to welcome Coley McCabe to the 2026 festival lineup on Florida’s Forgotten Coast.
